Integrated Business Program
The IBC program at the University of La Verne enables students to apply their integrated business skills by forming a company, determining the target market and product, developing a business plan, securing a loan from a bank, and selling their product throughout the semester. For my company, I was V.P. of marketing, where I created the marketing strategy, market research, and sales growth.
Company
Our company name was Port-a-pot where we sold portable cooking pots.
My role
I was the V.P. of marketing for my company. I organized all the sales events for our company and developed our sales plan.
Project success
We paid our 2000 dollar line of credit back and turned a 1000 dollar profit that was all dontated the our local charity.
